Tom Calagna, founder, co-owner, and president of Roselle, NJ-based ComfortFit Labs, will appear in a small role in a new HBO movie, “Phil Spector,” written and directed by playwright and filmmaker David Mamet.
The movie focuses on the relationship between Spector, played by Al Pacino, and his defense lawyer, played by Helen Mirren, during Spector’s murder trial.
Calagna studied theatre with Mamet at Goddard College in Plainfield, VT, in the early 1970s. Although Calagna has not acted professionally in years, his friend Mamet wrote him a small role. Catch Calagna, Pacino, and Mirren in the biopic, airing March 24.
