Hamstring Injury Patterns in Professional Male Football
52 cases of hamstring injuries were included for specific pattern analysis. The pattern analysis revealed 25 sprint-related (48%) and 27 stretch-related hamstring injuries (52%). All sprint-related hamstring injuries occured during linear acceleration or high-speed running.

SPRINTING TECHNIQUE & HAMSTRING STRAIN INJURIES
Can We Modify Maximal Speed Running Posture? Implications for Performance and Hamstring Injury Management
Sprint kinematics have been linked to hamstring injury and performance. This study aimed to examine if a specific 6-week multimodal intervention, combining lumbopelvic control and unning technique exercises, induced changes in pelvis and lower-limb kinematics at maximal speed and improved sprint performance.
Effects of Music on Resistance Exercise Performance
This review aimed to summarize and critically evaluate the research on the effects of music on resistance exercise performance. Research in the field has consistently demonstrated an ergogenic effect of music on resistance exercise performance.
How Exercise Shapes You, Far beyond the Gym
So often in life, things that you regard as an impediment turn out to be good fortune.

THE BANANA IS THE #1 FRUIT FOR ATHLETES. WHAT DOES THE SCIENCE SAY ABOUT IT?
This study compared the acute effect of ingesting bananas (BAN) versus a 6% carbohydrate drink (CHO) on 75-km cycling performance and post-exercise inflammation, oxidative stress, and innate immune function using traditional and metabolomics-based profiling.
SEVEN PILLARS OF PREVENTION: EFFECTIVE STRATEGIES FOR STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING COACHES TO REDUCE INJURY RISK AND IMPROVE PERFORMANCE IN YOUNG ATHLETES
Strength and conditioning provision for young athletes offers unique challenges and opportunities for coaches. Periods of rapid and nonuniform growth in skeletal structures can result in temporary reductions in athletic performance and heightened injury risk.
AIN’T JUST IMAGINATION! EFFECTS OF MOTOR IMAGERY TRAINING ON STRENGTH AND POWER PERFORMANCE OF ATHLETES DURING DETRAINING
This study aimed to investigate the effects of motor imagery (MI) training on strength and power performances of professional athletes during a period of detraining caused by the COVID-19 outbreak.
Foot Core Training to Prevent Running-Related Injuries: A Survival Analysis of a Single-Blind, Randomized Controlled Trial
Running-related injuries (RRIs) are a pervasive menace that can interrupt or end the participation of recreational runners in this healthy physical activity. To date, no satisfactory treatment has been developed to prevent RRIs.
Return to training in the COVID-19 era: The physiological effects of face masks during exercise
COVID-19 outbreak has a profound impact on almost every aspect of life. Universal masking is recommended as a means of source control. Routinely exercising in a safe environment is an important strategy for healthy living during this crisis.
Modulation of Exercise-Induced Muscle Damage, Inflammation, and Oxidative Markers by Curcumin Supplementation in a Physically Active Population: A Systematic Review
A dose between 150-1500 mg/day before and during exercise, and up until 72 h post-exercise may improve performance. By reducing the subjective perception of the intensity of muscle pain. Humans appear to be able to tolerate high doses of curcumin without significant side-effects.
