Edser Orthotic Labs FlopThotic is a custom-made flip-flop fabricated from a cast or 3D foot scan. Its base is direct milled to the corrected foot form. Accommodations, wedges, and heel lifts can be incorporated into the FlopThotic. After milling and hand finishing additions, the anti-slip sole, top cover, and straps are adhered, resulting in a custom-made flip-flop. The mid-density EVA (ethyl vinyl acetate) used for the base is comfortable and firm enough for durability and correction. Its styling allows the FlopThotic to go unnoticed as an orthopedic device and the color selection lets patients take part in customization.
