As part of its ongoing efforts to integrate and advance its Automated Orthotic Manufacturing System, Sharp Shape is beta-testing a new product called COR Manager for managing and modeling cast-correction COR files, the company’s proprietary file format for foot orthotic and foot mold design data. These files allow the company’s CAD-CAM programs to reproduce existing designs. The Matching System utilizes Sharp Shape scanners and the customer’s existing orthotic library to produce matches using a proprietary software package, which helps reduce milling costs and cast correction time.
