McKinney, TX-based Erchonia reported in July that the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has given 510(k) marketing clearance to its low-level laser for onychomycosis.

The study on which the FDA clearance is based found four weeks of once-weekly treatment with the Lunula Laser produced 3 mm of clear nail growth in 67% of patients infected with onychomycosis.
