Townsend Design announces its new UniReliever brace, one of eight osteoarthritis braces offered by the company. The UniReliever is a single upright, rigid aircraft aluminum brace engineered to be a lightweight, low profile solution for maintaining alignment and reducing load on the affected compartment. A comfortable counter-force just proximal to the knee joint is provided by an Adjustable Force Buttress made of a semi-malleable, stainless steel material that allows it to angle and compress into the side of the leg. Correction can be adjusted by tightening or loosening the anterior and/or posterior strap.
