pedCAT Imaging System

Foot and ankle specialists can now get a 3D, physiological weight-bearing image with the pedCAT diagnostic imaging device from CurveBeam. The compact pedCAT system uses cone beam computed tomography to produce undistorted, unobstructed images of the foot and ankle. It allows for visualization of bony anatomy during weight bearing and reveals bony pathology that traditional 2D x-rays may not detect. Because the pedCAT is only 4’x5’ in size and does not require extensive shielding, it can fit into the average clinician’s office, facilitating advanced imaging without delays in patient care.
