The new KLM Brace from KLM Laboratories is a custom-molded gauntlet-style ankle foot orthosis (AFO) specifically designed to stabilize the lower extremity, improve mobility, reduce pain, and decrease the risk of falls in patients with instability, weakness, or gait impairments. The KLM Brace is flexible and lightweight, with a durable polyester cloth soft interface for added comfort and fit. The standard brace is 9″ high and comes with a functionally balanced AFO shell of 3-mm polypropylene, but the rigidity, height, and alignment relative to the floor can all be customized to meet each patients’ specific needs.
