A unique heel strapping system holds the calcaneus under the talus, which controls subtalar inversion and talar rotation to assist in tissue healing, preventing chronic instability, and allowing for a quicker return to activity. The device provides standard stirrup stabilization and rigid medial and lateral uprights to reduce ankle joint inversion and eversion. A low profile foot plate is designed to provide a comfortable fit inside shoes, and low-profile uprights can help improve patient compliance.
