Birmingham, AL-based Hanger Clinic in early 2015 changed the name of its Amputee Empowerment Partners Peer Support Program to the AMPOWER program (empoweringamputees.org).
The AMPOWER Peer Support Program will continue matching amputees with certified peer mentors and has launched an online resource center at hangerclinic.com/ampower.
