WillowWood’s Alpha SmartTemp Liner brings temperature control to prosthetic liners with Outlast, a heat management technology that was developed for NASA. The product is designed to absorb heat generated by an amputee’s residual limb, which reduces sweating and the amount of moisture within the prosthetic liner. The liner uses one-way stretch Select fabric to control pistoning but still allow circumferential stretch for easy donning. Alpha SmartTemp Liners retrofit with other Alpha liners in the Progressive profile for transtibial amputees and the Symmetrical AK profile for transfemoral amputees.
