Meta-analysis Demonstrates AFOs Improve Gait, Balance in Stroke. In a recently published systematic review and meta-analysis, researchers from Korea looked at the effectiveness of ankle-foot orthosis (AFO) use on improving gait function and balance in patients with stroke.
