Copolymer polypropylene is now available from Allied O&P Supply in red, light blue, royal blue, purple, yellow, light pink, and brown. Copolymer polypropylene has some flexibility and good crack resistance, but it is more resilient and less rigid than homopolymers, and it processes at a lower temperature, all of which facilitate spot modification. The recommended oven temperature is 350° to 375° F. Typical shrinkage is 1.5% to 2%. Copolymer polypropylene has a yield point of 3400 psi, elongation at yield of 11%, and a Shore D hardness of 72 durometer. The material is available in 1/8″ and 3/16″ thicknesses.
