Chiefs’ head AT elected PFATS president

Members of the Professional Football Athletic Trainers Society (PFATS) on February 19 elected  Kansas City Chiefs head athletic trainer Rick Burkholder, ATC, president of the professional organization, which represents National Football League (NFL) trainers.

The 109-member PFATS meets at the annual NFL Scouting Combine, which took place February 22-25 this year, and at other times to ensure high quality care for NFL players and advance athletic training education and research.
