Upstep sells custom orthoses to patients

Upstep, founded by entrepreneurs in Rishon LeZion, Israel, is launching an online service that lets US customers order custom foot orthoses online.

Upstep sends customers a footprint kit with simple instructions for making an imprint that’s mailed back to the company, which uses 3D technology to scan the footprint. Upstep then designs orthoses based on each customer’s requirements and delivers them directly to the customer’s home. The orthoses’ cost ranges from $189 to $239.
