TheraTogs launches certified fitter program, sets first workshop dates

Telluride, CO-based TheraTogs announced its Certified Thera-Togs Fitter (CTF) program, a new nationwide workshop series designed to sharpen the clinical skills of physical, occupational, and speech therapists, orthotists, and physiatrists who fit and customize TheraTogs orthotic systems.

CTF Level I workshops focus on posture, torso alignment, and training for common indications. Half-day and one-day Level I training workshops are scheduled for Atlanta/Smyrna, GA (April 20-21); Houston, (May 18-19); and Chicago (June 22-23). Other dates and locations are pending. All workshops will offer educational credits for orthotists and physical and occupational therapists.

Level II workshops, which will address either lower or upper extremity strapping applications, will begin this fall; the company will offer Level III training (full-body with distal extremities) in 2013. For more information or to register go to www.gaitways.com/courses/CTF.html.
