PFP experts will convene in Canada

Vancouver, British Columbia will host the third International Patellofemoral Pain Research Retreat & Clinical Symposium, a three-day gathering of scientists who meet every two years to present new research on patellofemoral pain (PFP) and engage in panel discussion and consensus-building sessions.

Keynote speakers for the event, which takes place September 18-20, are Irene Davis, PhD, director of the Spaulding National Running Center in Boston, and Paul Hodges, PhD, MedDr, DSc, BPhty(Hons), director of the Centre for Clinical Research Excellence in Spinal Pain, Injury & Health at The University of Queensland in Brisbane, Australia.

Davis, Hodges, and other scientists will continue their focus on PFP at the first International Patellofemoral Pain Clinical Symposium, a one-day symposium aimed at health and medical practitioners on September 21, also in Vancouver.
