Pedorthist announces FootCentric, CME company with philanthropic mission

Chapel Hill, NC-based pedorthist and physical therapist Patricia Pande, PT, MCLSc, CPed, CSCS, has launched FootCentric (www.footcentriconline.com), a continuing education company created by a team of experienced physical therapy and fitness experts dedicated to teaching comprehensive foot treatment to physical therapists, pedorthists, physicians, podiatrists, and fitness professionals.

Pande said the company will join comprehensive foot treatment education courses with a philanthropic mission, dedicating proceeds from continuing education courses to procure footwear for individuals without access to critical medical footwear. Through partnerships with charitable organizations such as Soles4Souls, FootCentric allows health professionals to support a global cause while earning continuing education credits.

FootCentric’s educational seminars give lower extremity professionals in-depth insight into biomechanics, diagnostic tools, and treatment techniques including modified footwear, inserts, manual therapy, and gait reeducation. FootCentric’s courses and website offer expert interviews and product reviews as well as links to related resources across the world.
