Nonprofit group partners with Allard

In April the Charcot-Marie-Tooth Association (CMTA) announced a new patient-focused partnership with orthotic device manufacturers and distributors Allard International, based in Helsingborg, Sweden, and Allard USA, based in Rockaway, NJ.

The partnership embodies the philanthropic spirit of the Allard companies and promotes the CMTA’s mission of improving the quality of life for those affected by the neurologic disorder, according to the CMTA.

Allard’s ToeOff line of carbon composite devices is designed specifically to assist with foot drop, ankle instability, and proximal neuromuscular weakness, all symptoms of CMT.

Allard USA also offers educational programs, training, and marketing support to increase consumer and professional awareness of new technology for individuals with neurologic deficits.
