Masterfit University courses hone snowsports boot fitting expertise

Lower extremity practitioners who are involved or interested in snowsports boot fitting can learn the relevant skills while earning continuing education credits through Briarcliff Manor, NY-based Masterfit University.

Designed and taught by certified pedorthists with more than 225 years of experience fitting snowsports boots, Masterfit U classes offer a fast-paced, hands-on experience with focus on biomechanics and alignment, orthotics fabrication, and boot fit modification techniques. Attendees practice their skills in Masterfit’s travelling boot labs that are outfitted with advanced fit analysis and modification tools and direct mold orthotic casting and grinding equipment.

The Masters, Masters-Backcountry Connection, and Masters Plus courses individually qualify for continuing education credits from both the American Board for Certification in Orthotics Prosthetics & Pedorthics (ABCOP, 14 credits) and the Board for Orthotist/Prosthetist Certification (BOC, 14.08 credits).
