Integra wedges debut at ACFAS event

Plainsboro, NJ-based Integra LifeSciences Holdings Corporation introduced its Titanium Bone Wedges for internal fixation of bone fractures or osteotomies in the foot and ankle at the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons (ACFAS) 72nd Annual Scientific Conference, held February 27-March 2 in Orlando, FL.

The Integra Titanium Bone Wedges, which are available in 15 different preshaped anatomical sizes, are composed of commercially pure titanium formed into a cancellous-like structure that mimics the strength and porosity of human bone.

The wedges provide a scaffold for bone growth and biologic stability and structural support for deformity corrections.
