Grant will fund study of Cadence device

The Physiotherapy Foundation of Canada and the Quebec Rehabilitation Research Network in August awarded a CA$20,000 grant to Cadence Biomedical’s research collaborators for study of the Seattle-based company’s Kickstart device for stroke recovery.

Researchers from the Université de Montréal and the Center for Interdisciplinary Research in Rehabilitation of Greater Montreal will investigate the effect of the elasticity-based lower limb assistive exoskeleton on walking and walking-related abilities in individuals with poststroke hemiparesis.
