The University of Calgary in Canada will celebrate the retirement of internationally known biomechanist Benno M. Nigg, Drscnat, Drhc, at its International Calgary Running Symposium, scheduled for August 14-17.
Nigg is professor of biomechanics with joint appointments on the faculties of kinesiology, engineering, and medicine at the University of Calgary, where he has for 33 years codirected the Human Performance Laboratory.
