Birmingham, UK-based Delcam Crispin in September launched a new version of its Engineer Pro software for orthopedic footwear manufacturing, which the company said allows creation of bespoke footwear designs in the shortest possible time.
Engineer Ortho includes all 2D pattern development options from Engineer Pro and a multipoint transformation function allowing for easy matching of an existing pattern’s style lines to a new last.
Delcam released on October 31 its OrthoModel Pro 2015 R1 version, which lets users manage unmachined jobs independently of OrthoModel and OrthoMill and includes new external orthotic import automation.
Earlier this year the UK company launched a new version of its OrthoModel software, used for designing custom insoles. The upgrade simultaneously displays multiple 2D images and a 3D model and has a range of user interface improvements.
