Arthritis Foundation recognizes on-the-move orthopedic surgeon

At its April Women on the Move Luncheon in New York City the Arthritis Foundation honored Alexis Chiang Colvin, MD, assistant professor of sports medicine in the Leni and Peter W. May Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Mount Sinai School of Medicine, also in New York City.

Widely recognized in the field of sports medicine, Colvin specializes in surgery for knee, shoulder, and hip disorders.

She serves as a United States Tennis Association physician during the US Open, providing orthopedic care to elite professional tennis players, is a physician for the New York City Triathlon, and has treated numerous professional, collegiate, and high school athletes.
