The American Orthotic and Prosthetic Association (AOPA) announced that its 2021 National Assembly is scheduled to take place September 9–12, in Boston, MA.
The AOPA National Assembly Planning Committee is seeking high-quality educational and research content for the Assembly, which is slated to have a virtual and in-person component. All submissions must be submitted electronically no later than the April 2, 2021 deadline. Scientific abstracts and expert presentations are welcome for any 1 of the 5 presentation tracks addressing issues related to orthotics, prosthetics, and/or pedorthics. All submissions will be considered for both podium and poster presentations. The scientific review committee will grade each clinical submission via a blind review process—based on the relevance, level of interest in topic, quality of scientific content, quality of clinical content, and quality of technical content—and reach a decision regarding acceptance of abstracts.
