ADAPTTECH SECURES $2.7 MILLION IN NEW FUNDING

Biomedical startup Adapttech, Birmingham, England, announced that it has raised $2.7 million in a new venture capital funding round. The round was supported by existing and new investors. The new funding will primarily be used for new product developments; to drive sales of the company’s INSIGHT system, which combines a 3D scanner, sensors, wearable technology, and a mobile app to fabricate prosthetic sockets and monitor a patient’s rehabilitation process; hire key personnel; and prepare production processes for scale.
