ACFAS installs new officers, board of directors at its annual conference

The American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons (ACFAS) installed its 2013-2014 board of directors on February 12 at its 71st Annual Scientific Conference in Las Vegas.

Jordan P. Grossman, DPM, FACFAS, is the 62nd president of ACFAS. Grossman practices in Akron, OH, at Northeast Ohio Orthopaedic Associates.

He is a member of the teaching faculty for the Orthopaedic Surgery Residency Program at Akron General Medical Center and the Podiatric Surgical Residency Program at the Cleveland Clinic. Grossman also serves as a clinical assistant professor in orthopedic surgery at Northeast Ohio Medical University in Rootstown and is chief, Section of Podiatry at Akron General Medical Center and Summa St. Thomas Hospital in Akron.

Thomas S. Roukis, DPM, PhD, FACFAS, is president-elect. Roukis practices in the Department of Orthopaedics, Podiatry, and Sports Medicine in the Gundersen Health System in La Crosse, WI, where he directs podiatric surgery resident education.

Richard M. Derner, DPM, FACFAS, is secretary-treasurer. Derner is in private practice at Associated Foot & Ankle Centers of Northern Virginia in Woodbridge and chief of podiatric surgery at Stafford Hospital in Stafford, VA.

Christopher Reeves, DPM, FACFAS, of Orlando, FL, joins the board this year, and Sean Grambart, DPM, FACFAS, of Champaign, IL, was re-elected this year to another three-year term.
