Tekscan has released the F-Scan Datalogger for use with its F-Scan System, which captures dynamic in-shoe pressure and force information. The Datalogger collects and stores sensor data in its internal memory for uploading to a computer at a later time, which facilitates data collection in outdoor, indoor, and athletic environments. Weighing 11.4 ounces with its battery, the Datalogger sits at the waist while the wearer moves, allowing for activity assessment more than 100 meters from the computer. Clinicians and researchers can upload data from any location with an Internet connection.
