The new Raize Ankle/Foot system from Hosmer utilizes dual microprocessors to control a hydraulic ankle coupled to a composite foot platform. The Raize constantly monitors data from multiple sensors in the ankle to maintain stability in changing environments, including the ability to adjust to a change in heel height or to walking on an incline. A remote ankle lock facilitates functions such as driving and donning and doffing shoes. The foot is suitable for patients with K3 activity levels and weighing up to 220 pounds. A flexible Centri foot shell is sold separately and can be ordered in custom colors.
