Eldorado Z-Axis Climbing Foot

The Eldorado Z-Axis prosthetic climbing foot features a revolutionary, compact design. It is only seven inches long but provides superior control, loading, leverage and proprioception. The unique foot is constructed with a high strength keel for stability and a compliant polymer foot matrix, all encased in a custom Evolve rock climbing shoe. The foot mounts to a standard endoskeletal prosthesis with a pre-installed titanium pyramid adapter, so almost any lower extremity prosthesis wearer can don and use the Eldorado Z-Axis easily. Applications for trans-femoral and trans-tibial absence. Amputee climber competitors using the Z-Axis won both the Gold and Silver awards at the Extremity Games in 2009.
