Cascade Dafo has added a new product to its Fast Fit line of prefabricated shoe inserts, which are engineered to control moderate pronation of the pediatric foot. The low-profile Chipmunk combines the internal alignment provided by molded contours with the stability of a flat external base. Key features of the new orthoses include a formed heel cup for hindfoot stability, internal foam contours to promote good foot alignment, a diagonal forefoot trim line to encourage natural push-off, built-in arch padding for additional internal support, and a deep medial trim line to protect the navicular structures.
