Tria, Vikings provide training for teens

By Emily Delzell

Minneapolis, MN-based Tria Orthopaedic Center partnered in August with the Minnesota Vikings to provide certified athletic training coverage for all high school football programs within the Minneapolis and St. Paul school districts this upcoming season.

Tria will provide certified athletic training coverage for camps, practices, and competitions. The center will also conduct neurocognitive baseline testing as a tool for concussion management, offer anterior cruciate ligament injury prevention programs, and coordinate physician coverage for varsity football games.

The National Football League Foundation and Vikings’ ownership will each contribute $50,000 toward the care of nearly 600 football players in 13 high schools.
