Tekscan launches gait analysis system

Boston, MA-based Tekscan on April 28 introduced the worldwide release of its Strideway gait analysis system.

The modular pressure measurement system provides kinetic, temporal, and spatial gait parameters, as well pressure and force data. It’s constructed by clicking together modular tiles to form a platform, making the system easy to set up, move, and store, and customers can add length with additional tiles, according to a Tekscan release. It also features a wide active area and flush surface to minimize trip hazards and accommodate patients with mobility aids  or gait dysfunctions.

The system made its debut in February at the American Physical Therapy Association Combined Sections Meeting in San Antonio.
