Active Innovation, the medical division of Gardner, KN-based company Active Ankle, has secured pricing, data analysis, and coding (PDAC)-approved reimbursement codes for its product line.
The approved billing code for the CF Pro is L1971. The CF Pro is a professional grade ankle brace for patients who require customizable support.
In addition, the T2 and Multi‐Phase ankle braces were approved for code L1906.
“As a company we made the decision to go through this process, not only to assure that we were in compliance with Medicare regulations, but more importantly; we wanted our distributors to be able to sell our products with confidence and for physicians to be able to submit a billing knowing that they would be reimbursed correctly,” said sales director Kelly Bauer.
