OPAF announces 2017 board, sponsor

The Charlotte, NC-based Orthotic & Prosthetic Activities Foundation (OPAF) in January welcomed two new board members for fiscal year 2017.

The new members are JoAnne Kanas, CPO, DPT, national director for orthotics and prosthetics for Shriners Hospital for Children in Tampa, FL; and Vibhor Agrawal, PhD, ATP, assistant professor of physical therapy at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine in Miami. OPAF’s 2017 officers are Sue Borondy, president, director of marketing and communications at Endolite; Karen Henry, vice president, president of KH Edits; and Nikki Hooks, CO, a board eligible prosthetist with Ability Prosthetics & Orthotics.

OPAF also announced in January that Össur Americas is a platinum sponsor for its 2017 First Clinics. The foundation’s 2017 First Clinics schedule is available at opafonline.org.
