JMS Plastics shows its purple heart

In honor of Pancreatic Cancer Month, JMS Plastics will donate a portion of the November sales of its new purple materials: Neolon, J-foam HR EVA, and lavender swirl EVA. Purple is the official color of Pancreatic Cancer Month.

Qualifying sales will take place at the North American Pedorthics Congress in Orlando and at the New Jersey Academy of Orthotists and Prosthetists annual meeting in Atlantic City. A portion of the sales will go to Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (www.pancan.org).

Jim Skesavage, who founded the Neptune, NJ-based company in 1981, died of pancreatic cancer in 2008. The company is now run by his two sons, Mark and Steve.
