The Pedorthic Foundation in May named two pedorthists to its board of directors, Matthew Mirones, CPed, CPO, and Anne Brussok, CPed.
Mirones, a former president of the Pedorthic Footcare Association, has practiced orthopedic rehabilitation for more than 35 years, and is cofounder, along with his father, of Arimed Orthotics, Prosthetics & Pedorthics in New York City.
Brussok is a heritage channel manager with Birkenstock USA, headquartered in Novato, CA.
She has been with the company for more than 20 years and focuses on initiatives for Birkenstock’s retail partners and in product education and training for independent footwear retailers, particularly pedorthic-certified retailers.
