DJO launches wireless stimulation device

DJO Global in July received Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approval to begin sales of the San Diego-based company’s wireless electric muscle stimulation device.

The Compex Wireless USA, according to the company, sends electronic pulses to nerve fibers through small wearables to create involuntary muscle contractions and maximize muscular effort.

The device sells for $1149 at compexusa.com and select retailers.
