Fort Myers, FL-based CAD-CAM developer Delcam announced in August the upcoming launch of its workflow management product, OrderManager, at the 2011 American Orthotic & Prosthetic Association National Assembly, held in Las Vegas, September 19-22.
OrderManager software helps practitioners and orthotic laboratories track and access order details and transactions, from the initial order to CAD modelling and manufacturing to delivery to the patient. The software can be tailored to manage any laboratory’s individual processes.
Delcam, whose global operations are based in Birmingham, UK, also announced dates for its 2012 Orthotics Technology Forum, which will be held July 12-13 at the University of Salford in Greater Manchester, UK.
The two-day conference is open to O&P practitioners and laboratory managers and is approved for continuing education credit. It will feature current technology used by orthotic laboratories around the world alongside emerging custom orthotic advances and research projects.
